What is a chiropractic adjustment?
The chiropractic adjustment is a technique used to correct joint dysfunction in which there is a loss of normal movement of the joint. This loss of motion tends to create pain. Manipulation restores mobility, thereby alleviating pain and muscle tightness, allowing tissues to heal.

Do I have to be “cracked”?
No. If you do have a spinal or extremity joint dysfunction, in most cases there are effective NON-CRACKING techniques that can be used to correct it. The “popping noise” heard with many adjustments are the bubbles within the joint capsule moving from side to side but are unnecessary for an effective adjustment.
